| This activity is a good starting point for QCA 1B Growing Plants and QCA 2B Plants and Animals in the Local Environment. It is a half day activity and combines well with pond or land minibeasts.
Activities include building a human tree to learn about the parts of a plant, learning about what a plant needs via a story and a game, and collecting different leaves on a sticky pallet during a walk in the nature reserve.
