| Our animal classroom, which houses exotic animals from most taxonomic groups, has seating for one class of children. We can cover many different learning objectives in this classroom, including observation, comparison, sorting, life processes, keeping pets and senses, amongst others. As a half day session it combines well with any of our other activities.
The aim is to give children the experience of handling or observing live animals with care, consideration and respect, as well as giving an insight into the variety of life found on Earth.
