| This activity is a good starting point for QCA 2B Plants and Animals in the Local Environment and QCA 2C Variation. It is a half day activity and combines well with pond or land minibeasts, or plants.
Children pretend to become a woodland animal and in groups learn about each animal’s requirements for life. Armed with this knowledge we visit the nature reserve looking for evidence of the real animals.
