| A fantastic half day activity to follow in the winter months! This activity fits in well with QCA 1B Growing Plants, QCA 2B Plants and Animals in the Local Environment and QCA 2C Variation.
Children are taken on a walk looking for food available for animals in the nature reserve. Berries and seeds are collected and mixed together with seed and fat and pushed into a pine cone. A short walk to hang them up in the Christmas Tree Woods nearby can lead to a magic moment with our friendly robin!
