In just one day we can cover many of the learning objectives of QCA 5B Life Cycles!

Part of the day can be spent focussing on flowering plants, dissecting flowers to name the parts, acting out a drama to learn about pollination, fertilisation, seed dispersal and germination and walking in the nature reserve to spot flowers and seeds.

We can also visit the animal house, meeting the animals and discussing their various life cycles, or a pond dip would result in the observation of many creatures at various life stages.

Please note to encourage conservation we do not pick the wild flowers but cultivate lavatera especially for this purpose, consequently this programme is best booked in the growing months (June to September).
