Before your Visit.
Use these web pages to give you some ideas of the range of Programmes of Study we offer.
Phone to book your date. We will ask for the approximate
number of children, the year group and if you have decided, the Programme of Study you intend following (e.g. village, pond or orienteering). We need to know these details as it helps us to plan the use of our facilities.
If your booking is for the current financial year, your school office will immediately receive a Confirmation of Booking form and a programme of study form. Please list your requirements for the day. Phone us if you need any help. We will phone you if we are unsure about anything. It also helps us if you give brief details of what the children will have covered before their visit such that we may build on their knowledge, if this is appropriate.
Otherwise, your office will receive this form at the beginning of the financial year for which you have booked your visit.
In order to secure your booking the confirmation form !MUST! be completed with expenditure code, local authority order number, and signature or say if you want to pay by cheque, and returned to the Centre within two weeks of receipt, either by post or by internal mail (DMBC).
Make sure when booking the coach that you specify a definite departure time from the Centre. Some coach companies have school run contracts and this can cause difficulties when the driver demands to leave early.
